Cognizo's left navigation is organized around three stages of the AEO workflow: getting set up, analyzing your performance, and taking action to improve visibility. Many features also have tabs across the top of the workspace so you can dig into different views of that feature's data without leaving the page.
Home
Your central dashboard where you can get a quick snapshot of your key metrics and recent activity across your account.
Research is where you can explore AI search trends and gather intelligence to inform your strategy before you start building out your tracking.
Analyze
This section is the core of your day-to-day work in Cognizo. Start with Topics, which are basically your organizing layer. Each topic represents a competitive area of your business you want to win, and it groups related prompts together under a shared theme or objective. Tabs within Topics let you move between your topic list and the performance data rolled up across each one.
Once your topics are set up, head to Prompts. Prompts are the engine behind everything Cognizo measures, each one being a user-style query that Cognizo runs daily across supported AI search engines to track your visibility, share of voice, sentiment, and citations. Tabs within Prompts let you switch between managing your active prompts, reviewing deactivated prompts, or running new prompts suggestions based on Cognizo data. Learn more about managing prompts.
Competition is where you benchmark your brand against tracked competitors across those same prompts. Tabs here let you slice the competitive view by different metrics or time periods. Learn more about adding competitors.
Citations is one of the more powerful sections in the platform. It shows you which sources AI models are referencing when generating responses to your tracked prompts, whether that's your own pages, competitor pages, or third-party sources. It also has one of the richest tab structures in Cognizo, with tabs for Overview, Domains, Pages, YouTube, Reddit, Deep Dive, and Watchlist, each giving you a different lens on your citation data. Learn more about Citations.
Traffic Analytics tracks and categorizes the non-human traffic visiting your website, including AI citation visits, training crawlers, and indexing bots. Tabs let you filter and explore that activity by bot type or AI provider. Learn more about Traffic Analytics.
Export Reports is straightforward. It lets you pull your data out of Cognizo to share with stakeholders or drop into external workflows.
Optimize
Once you have a handle on your visibility, this is where you start taking action.
Content Recommendations surfaces gaps and opportunities based on your citation and prompt data, so you always know where to focus your content investment next. Tabs help you sort and filter recommendations by topic, content type, or priority. Learn more about Content Recommendations.
Content Studio is the fastest way to turn your Cognizo data into content briefs and full articles, using your visibility data, competitor gaps, and authoritative research to generate structured content in minutes. Tabs let you move between your saved briefs and generated articles. Learn more about Content Studio.
Technical Audits flags any technical issues on your site that might be limiting how AI crawlers index and reference your content. Tabs help you navigate between different audit categories or issue types. Learn more about Technical Audits.
